A Message From David W. Daniels
Brothers and Sisters:
Have you ever wondered what it felt like to be the Israelites, watching the Red Sea suddenly close upon the entire Egyptian army? They must have been in awe the next morning, seeing their powerful enemy washed up on the other side (Exodus 14:26-31).
Was that the beginning of a new life, free from Egypt, serving the Lord? No.
Why? They still had Egypt in their hearts. They murmured and complained and doubted their God. And they ended up dying during 40 years of wandering in the wilderness.
In the last few months, the landscape of the USA has changed drastically. One “ruling party” has been replaced with another. Many are moaning, while others breath a sigh of relief, feeling this gives them more time. But what good is more time if it is not used to serve God?
No! This is not the time to be silent, or murmur and complain, like Israel of old. Now is the time to get the Gospel everywhere we can spread it.
And we have just the tool to do it: Gospel tracts. They have time to talk to the lost person, even when we don’t. They point them to the scriptures, when we don’t have them with us. They go home with the sinner, when we can’t. And they present a complete Gospel, that they can think on and read again, any time they want, as long as they keep the tract.
Sinners are dying and going to hell without the Gospel. And we have the means to put it in our pockets and get it into their hands.
Don’t be deceived by this temporary quiet for Christians. If we don’t get the Gospel out, the enemy will return with a vengeance. But if we do, God may hear our prayers and even send us what we need most of all: revival.
In Christ Jesus, and for His service,
