Missionary Brent Hoffman spotted an opportunity to pass out tracts at the Olympics since his church is located just across the border in Chièvres, Belgium. 

With 5,000 Chick tracts from the Chick Mission Fund, they entered France and began to share the Gospel with visitors to the basketball and handball competitions in Lille.

He wrote: “We had good success with the tracts over in Lille. We even gave some to the men's basketball staff, who knows? Maybe one will get into those NBA player's hands.”

People LOVE to get Chick tracts. And they READ them!

Veteran missionaries Pat and Windy Caspary just finished an outreach to the schools in the Mae Chaem district of northern Thailand.  They passed out 2,000 Chick tracts, that you provided, to children, students and teachers in the villages.  In the pictures below, we see the students avidly reading the Gospel, and the teachers with their gift of Chick tracts.

This is just a portion of the thousands of tracts you have supplied to these missionaries. They are getting well used!

Missionary Scott Sumner in Honduras has received another 200,000 Chick tracts.  You may remember him from prior reports.  In over 30 years as a missionary here, he has developed contacts that give him freedom to preach the Gospel in both the military and police academies.  His church also is right near the Pan-American highway where thousands of immigrants flow through on their way to the US border.

He writes: "The tracts continue to be distributed on a weekly basis and have been such a blessing in our church and military evangelism. Only God knew that these tracts were what was needed for our people to get off the pews and go and fulfill the Great Commission. 

"Our ministry has been given the opportunity to conduct a bi-monthly Day of Prayer for the Armed Forces of Honduras to preach the Gospel to the heads of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Military Police and their officers and soldiers. The last Day of Prayer had some 900 in attendance and the Holy Joe tracts were handed out to them. This is definitely the Hand of the Lord in giving us this opportunity to preach the Gospel in an avowed socialist government. To God be the glory.

When tracts lead to prayer it's a good day.

We have now printed around 970,000 of the tracts for this container.  As funds come in, we can print the remaining 390,000 tracts and get it on the way to Manila.  Ministries all over the Philippines are sharing their pictures from the last container, and another group of ministries is anxiously waiting for the next one.  The open door that God has given us in this country is amazing!  We have learned from experience that these doors don’t stay open forever.  When they are open, we push gospel literature into the country as fast as we can.  These people need Jesus!  Through your giving we hope to ship this container within the next month.
