Missionaries continue to call and ask for Chick tracts for their evangelism.  And you have never let them down.  We have been able to continue to meet their needs. 

Missionary Paul Song, who has received several shipments of Chick tracts through your help, uses several methods of spreading the tracts, including putting them in people’s (mail) letterboxes.  He wrote this note:

“One day, we went to Southampton, about two hours from London, to distribute tracts. Around 10 PM that evening, I received a phone call.

A woman on the other end of the line said "Hello," and then started sobbing. I asked if she was okay, and she explained that she had been severely depressed that day and was about to commit suicide. She had tied a rope to the ceiling and climbed onto a chair, ready to kick it away. But just as she was about to do so, she heard a click from the letterbox. She decided to check the sound before going through with her plan. She got down from the chair, removed the rope, and found our Chick tract in the letterbox. Overwhelmed with emotion, she began to cry and gave up her plan to take her own life.

That evening, she called me and said, "Your tract saved me from suicide." We prayed together over the phone, and I shared the gospel with her, leading her to believe in Jesus. Through a single gospel tract, a suicide was prevented, and she came to faith in Jesus. Hallelujah!”

As of the time of this writing, we have finished printing 80,000 of the 150,000 Chick tracts for Missionary Paul Buskager to use in the upcoming crusade in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico  We need to complete and ship this project within the next 10 days.  Funding for this project continues to come in, and we expect to complete it on time.

With over a million Chick tracts already printed for the upcoming container, we have only 200,000 tracts left to print before we can complete this project.  Ministries all over this island nation are waiting for their supply of gospel tracts that open people’s eyes.

Missionary Jim Voltenberg, in Scotland, is sharing his burden and excitement about street evangelism with other missionaries.  It’s important to realize that the ministries of different missionaries have different “personalities.”  Some focus on running a Bible school to train future pastors, some focus on orphanages and child evangelism, and some focus on hitting the streets for soul-winning.  That is Jim’s burden, and he has developed a group of pastors and missionaries from all over Europe who share that burden.  We are preparing to print another 70,000 Chick tracts for this bold ministry.  With your help, we can get these into his hands in time for his next big push in October.
