An increasing number of churches and communities are organizing Halloween fairs they call “Trunk or Treat.” While people often decorate their cars in Halloween themes, Christians are finding it a great opportunity to pass out tracts!  Here is a comment from a Chick tract passer who tried it:

My wife and I passed out around 500 Chick Gospel tracts at our Church’s annual Trunk or Treat this year. We made little “goody bags” with a clear fall themed bag we bought from the Dollar Tree, a few pieces of candy and a Gospel tract inside. Children and their parents took them and were excited to receive them! When we ran out of “goody bags” to hand out we would drop a tract along with a few pieces of candy into each child’s candy sack. — N.W. Florida

Look what happened when someone else tried it:

My wife and I have enjoyed handing out Chick tracts at our small town's annual Halloween event downtown for the past few years.  This past year, God led us to start a church in this same town.  It was a privilege to be able to now hand out Chick tracts stamped with our new church's information.  We were able to hand out around 200 tracts even though the weather was much colder than in years past.  We had several people comment that they remembered getting the tracts last year and were excited to get more this year.
