Desperate Times Require Brave People

The world is drowning in perverse voices declaring right is wrong, wrong is right, and anyone who disagrees is a hateful candidate for reeducation. Amidst this uproar, a few brave individuals are rising up and making their voices heard.

I received a ‘Hi there,’ tract in the summer of 2009, and the Spirit of God brought me under intense conviction that very moment. I clearly saw the reality of Hell in my soul, and it led me to call upon Jesus to save me; and save me He graciously did!

Here are the things happening this week.

We still need a few thousand dollars in funding to complete all of these projects:

A missionary here is being supplied with 55,000 dual-language Chick tracts.  Due to the difficulty of importing Gospel tracts, they are being printed in Israel.  The missionary just received the first batch and wrote: “We picked them up today and have started distributing them.  Thank you so much!”

2,000 more Bengali and Hindi tracts were shipped this week to a ministry connected with Unity Outreach in northern India.  They are in the languages of Bengali and Hindi.

Thousands of tracts have begun arriving at the four destinations in Thailand where Missionary Pat Caspary has associates doing soul-winning along the Thai/Burma border. They are now requesting tracts in the Karen language, for refugees who fled Burma during the Karen genocide.  Thanks to your faithfulness, we expect to supply this need soon.

240,000 Chick tracts are now on the way to Zimbabwe.  This shipment includes 150,000 Shona tracts for the tribal people, 50,000 more for English speakers, and 40,000 Portuguese tracts that will cross the border into Mozambique.

Missionary Joshua Stokes in the southern Spanish city of Málaga has requested 20,000 Chick tracts for his outreach there.  There are more than half a million people in this city, and they need Jesus! Learn more about this church-planting family on their website here: stokesinspain.com
