The Power of a Grateful Heart

Gratitude is a central theme in the Bible, reflecting a heart of thankfulness towards God. It acknowledges His blessings, grace, and provision in our lives, fostering a deeper connection with Him and others.

There's still time!

As we approach Thanksgiving here in America, we need to remember to be grateful that we have been among the privileged ones who heard the Gospel.  Not everyone has.  Our missionaries are still busy introducing the nations to Jesus.

Here are a few things going on right now:

Missionary Lordson Roch met a young Muslim man (pictured below) on the streets as they were passing out the Chick tracts you provided.  He describes here what happened:

Like every Saturday even today we were out witnessing to the people the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The young man in the picture is Ayaz. A Muslim in search of Truth. He came up to me with cheerful attitude and said, 'Sir, I read your Jesus booklet (This Was Your Life).' 

Without me saying much, he said to me, 'Sir I read it through and I learnt about Jesus and repented of sin and believed in Jesus'.  He was very genuine and his complexion showed great honesty.  He held my hands with gratitude and thanking me for the gospel tracts that we as a TEAM has been distributing. . . Please pray for Ayaz and for his journey with Jesus. Before he left, he told me he will visit our church and worship together.

God is changing lives just like that. It is all about Lord Jesus Christ!

Missionary Greg Stedman ran into a van full of youth and gave them some of the Chick tracts you provided him.  He writes: “I was waiting for a classroom to be opened for Sunday service.  There was a vehicle of students waiting for their next game of Frisbee soccer.  So I got to witness to them and gave them an assortment of Chick tracts.  They traveled so far (4 hours) for a Frisbee soccer game, and got so much more!”

We still need funds to complete Missionary Lacy Wheeler’s request of 400,000 Spanish “This Was Your Life” to go in the container he is shipping to Ecuador.  Wheeler’s passion as a missionary is literature, and he is counting on stocking that container with Chick tracts!

We feel the Lord wants us to send another container of Chick tracts in the spring to the many workers in the Philippines who are calling for them.  The 20-foot container will hold 1,200,000 Chick tracts (more than ten tons) and will make a huge impact among these islands.  You may know some of the missionaries . . . they include Bob Criss, Bill Hardecker, Layne Jones, Michael Pancoast, Greg Stedman and Gerald Sutek and more.  These are dedicated veterans who will make good use of the tracts.

Missionary E.G. (name withheld) is still working the Tokyo area.  He has requested another 10,000 Japanese tracts.  He gets them into areas you might not expect!   On the back of the tracts is a video link to powerful videos warning against hell and offering hope in Jesus Christ.
