Halloween Tracts a Hit in Downtown Disney

On Halloween 2024, Kevin Estrada did something unexpected at Downtown Disney. Instead of handing out candy, he gave away something far more valuable: Chick tracts. Kevin’s mission was simple...

A lady called and explained she received food, a Bible, and “A Love Story” from a local church.  She expressed her gratitude and said, “I have drifted away and this has enticed me to try again”. – J.B.

Here are a few things going on right now:

Earlier this year, your giving provided 50,000 Spanish Chick tracts for Operation Compassion, operated by Hands Across the Border ministries in Sonora, Mexico.  They go from town to town, giving backpacks for school, with five gifts, for every child.  The whole town turns out!  The Chick tracts you provided went into all the backpacks for tens of thousands of kids, along with Bibles and other literature.

Every parent wants to know what their kids are reading, so we can be certain that every parent will read those tracts, too!  Many of these families are Catholic families who are now hearing that salvation is free, through Jesus alone. Below are a few pictures from this big outreach.

We just received a new request from a missionary couple in Greece, associated with Cross and Bible Ministries in Texas.  A Romanian couple, called to serve as missionaries to Greece, they travel throughout Greece leading a team passing out tracts and preaching in public squares.  Evangelism is their number one focus.  They need 50,000 Greek “This Was Your Life” for their teams to pass out while they preach.

Brian Green of Seed for the Cities is going with two pastors from Canada and a large group of young people to the seven islands of the Azores and needs 50,000 Portuguese tracts to blanket these islands.  Some are sparsely populated, but others have significant populations.

We are working on producing more than a million Chick tracts in Filipino, Cebuano and English for the next (6th) container headed for the Philippines. We're still raising funds for the $100,000 cost of this eleven ton project.  Your giving is making it possible to supply these many ministries.
