A lot of soul-winning has been going on because of your giving to the Chick Mission Fund.

Mexico – Missionary Paul Buskager recently finished a big outreach in Mexicali. A group came from the United States to help pass out tracts. We tend to forget how big some of these cities are. In Mexicali, with over a million people, the team passed out thousands of Chick tracts that you provided, and saw more than 1200 people come to the evening evangelistic services to hear the Gospel. More than 150 adults filled out cards after they got saved, and the local churches were able to follow up.

More happening in Mexico: Missionary Joe Hendrigsman, in Oaxaca, Mexico, has requested 2.4 million Chick tracts for the outreach there. A huge network of local churches receive Chick tracts through him, and they have run out. Because we have so many commitments all over the world, we cannot provide him that many immediately, but are now beginning to print the first 400,000. Can you help us keep these soul-winners supplied?

Greece – Emanuel and Tereza Negru, a young Romanian missionary couple, have an amazing ministry in Greece. They rent several motorhomes, and take teams of young Christians on a soul-winning tour of Greece. Passing out the Chick tracts you sent them, preaching in the market places, and dealing one-on-one with those they meet, they will preach in over 50 cities this summer using the Chick tracts you provided. They are so grateful for your help, but need 200,000 tracts each year on the streets in this ministry. You have already provided 50,000. Can you help provide more for this ministry?

Philippines – As this is being written, the container with almost 2 million Chick tracts has now arrived in Manila! More than 140 ministries are waiting for this new supply of Gospel ammunition to arrive. One of the recipients of tracts from the last container, Pastor Ballonado, shares these pictures of your gift of life reaching children here.

Dominican Republic – We have supported Missionary Lacy Wheeler for years through the Mission Fund. He has a heart for literature, and sends containers of Bibles, John/Romans and Chick tracts to many Latin American countries. He is now planning one for the Dominican Republic. This Carribean country shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti, with similar superstition and demonic elements. They need the Gospel! Wheeler says that a container with Bibles and John/Romans is just not complete without a load of Chick tracts. He has asked us to step up and provide 400,000 Chick tracts for this container. They will all be one title, Spanish “This Was Your Life,” so there is a huge production savings. These 400,000 tracts will cost the Mission Fund only 7 cents each, making it a great way to stretch missions dollars!
