More “Proof” of Eternal Life?

We were doing puppy rescue and adoption. One year we adopted out 410 puppies (my husband and I). Every family would get a tract called Cleo with their puppy 😊

We ran out of Cleo tracts and decided to use what we had on hand … well, it was The Beast. When delivering the puppy, we met a young woman who was adopting the puppy for a surprise for her mom for Mother’s Day.

Three days after the adoption, the young woman called and asked us to take back the puppy…"Mom doesn’t want a puppy", she explained. In receiving the puppy back, I asked if we could have his health record back in which she said… "oh yes, I have that… only one thing… I would like to keep this booklet. My parents were divorced when I was a child and my dad used to hand out these booklets to people when I was young. I loved reading them and gave my heart to Jesus after reading one." 

Holding up The Beast she said, "this one scared me so bad that I’m going back to church!" ⛪️ 

We still do puppy adoptions and still spread the gospel by including Chick tracts.

We continue to be amazed at the faithfulness of God’s people, as you keep on giving Chick tracts for missionaries.  Here are some of things happening this week:

Honduras – The 400,000 Chick tracts for Missionary Lacy Wheeler’s container to Honduras were delivered to Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Tennessee. There, the tracts are being loaded into the container and are just waiting for one last shipment of Bibles to arrive before sending it off to Honduras.  A whole network of churches are waiting to distribute these tracts across their country.

Philippines – The container of nearly 2 million tracts has now cleared customs in Manila and we are already getting thank you notes from ministries who have received the tracts and are so grateful.  As Missionary Bruce Hunsaker so eloquently puts it, these people have so little, and when their brothers and sisters from America give them the tools to grow their churches, it means so much!

Pasig City, Philippines - Tract passing ending in prayer . . . that’s the goal!

Scotland – A pallet of 56,000 tracts has just been picked up and is on the way to Missionary Jim Voltenberg in Scotland.  In addition to local ministry around his area of Dundee, many of these tracts are in Filipino, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian and Arabic and will be used by a ministry to seaman at a Scottish port.

Moldova – After years of communist oppression, following the collapse of the Soviet Union the people of Moldova now have freedom of religion, and churches are springing up.  Missionary Paul Hamilton will soon receive 10,000 “Holy Joe” in Moldavian.  A missions team is about to leave for Moldova, and they will carry in their luggage these Chick tracts that you provide through your giving.

Mexico – 400,000 Spanish tracts are leaving next week for Lee’s Summit, where the ministry of Seeds of Grace Transportation will provide free shipping to Oaxaca, Mexico for Missionary Joe Hendgrigsman.  We are planning many more Chick tracts for this ministry, but wanted to get this first batch moving as quickly as possible.  Because you gave, we were able to move forward on this.  Many of these tracts also end up on barges crossing the river into Guatemala (see below).
