Victories to Celebrate: Courts and Congress Take a Stand

The South Carolina Supreme Court recently delivered a unanimous win for life, upholding the 2023 Fetal Heartbeat and Protection from Abortion Act. This act outright bans abortion in South Carolina as soon as a heartbeat is detected. Planned Parenthood tried to challenge the law by twisting medical definitions, but the effort failed.

When kids get into serious trouble, parents often ground them. But why wait until then? Ground your kids today so they won’t get into trouble later!

On vacation, we meet more new people per day than at any other time. Give them a little story they will enjoy, and a message they will never forget!

Chick customers continue to support their missionaries by providing Chick tracts for their outreaches through the Chick Mission Fund.  Through your giving, here are some of the things happening this week:

Mexico – (Oaxaca)

We continue to make good progress on the 2.4 million tracts requested by Missionary Joe Hendrigsman in Oaxaca, Mexico.  This week, we finished 500,000 and shipped them to Seeds of Grace Transportation, which will take them across the border and down to him at no cost to the Mission Fund.  We will continue on this project as you give.  1.9 million tracts to go!

Mexico – (Mexico City)

Missionary Walt Selman called to let us know he finally received the 50,000 tracts you provided for his work in Mexico City.

Brother Selman uses many of the tracts in the hospital district.  Family members who come to visit hospitalized loved ones cannot just go in and out.  They must wait outside until a nurse comes to take them in.  While waiting, they get Chick tracts from the Selmans, and with nothing to do for hours, they sit and read Chick gospel tracts.  They take them home, and entire families get the Gospel.

Mexico – (Mexico City)

Also for Mike and Mary Wallace, laboring in this city of nearly 23 million, we shipped another 40,000 Spanish Chick tracts to an address in Texas, where they plan to come across the border and receive them.  You may recall reading that Mike has managed to get entry into facilities where former drug and alcohol addicts are recovering.  He said they really respond to the Chick tracts and many get saved!  Some are now attending his mission church.

Dominican Republic – Thanks to your faithful giving, we were able to go ahead and print the 400,000 Spanish “This Was Your Life” requested by Missionary Lacy Wheeler.  There is still a lot of work to be done to complete this, but we are well on our way.

Philippines – We continue to receive thank you notes and pictures from the Philippines, where the container you provided of nearly 2 million Chick tracts is fueling an amazing amount of witnessing in homes and on streets!

Myanmar (Burma) – We are working on 10,000 Burmese “Greatest Story Ever Told” for Missionary Dan Armacost.  This title is requested often by ministries in this part of the world.  It presents the Gospel to people who have no cultural background in Christianity.  Thanks to your giving, we should finish these soon.

Ukraine – As the tragedy in this country continues to unfold, White Horse Baptist Church in Greenville, SC continues to send relief supplies and Chick tracts.  At this time, their associates are working near the front, preaching to the civilians and soldiers, and to the children there.  They requested 100,000 Ukrainian Chick tracts for their next (29th) container.  Through your giving, we will help them bring the Gospel to many who may soon pass into eternity here.
