“I am a Chaplain for a commissary supply company. We supply jails and prisons. With our deliveries we try to add gospel tracts with each facility. Some don’t allow staples in the tracts so we remove the staples and hand sew each tract. Our drivers that make the deliveries have had many inmates come to them and thank them for the Gospel tracts and ask them to please keep sending them.” – (email)

As you have faithfully continued to give to provide Chick tracts for missions, there is a lot going on as usual. Here are a few things happening at this time.
Colombia – Another 5,000 Chick tracts were shipped this week to Missionary Mark Gerosin in Medellin, Colombia. We are planning a total of 20,000 for him, but find it is easier to get them through customs if we ship 5,000 at a time.
Mexico – (Mexico City) We want to share some pictures from Missionary Walt Selman in Mexico City. You provided him with 50,000 Chick tracts. People there are just like people in every part of the world . . . when given a Chick tract, they just stop and read the Gospel right there.
Mexico – (Oaxaca) This week, we completed printing of the remaining 200,000 Chick tracts for the next shipment to Missionaries Joe and Amy Hendrigsman in Oaxaca, Mexico. This second shipment, being processed for shipping now, will total 700,000 tracts! That means we still have 1,200,000 to go on this big project. As you continue to give, we will continue to print to complete this project.
Thailand/Burma – Missionary Pat Caspary is connected to 12 different teams working in Thailand. There is a civil war in Burma (Myanmar) with the Burmese military bombing its own people. Thousands of refugees stream across the Thai border to escape the bombs. All they have are their lives. Their homes and possessions are left behind. These teams are bringing food and relief supplies, along with Chick tracts. They provide schooling for these refugee children, and make sure they get Chick tracts in the process! As they run out, we plan to provide more.

Moldova – Missionary Paul Hamilton in the eastern European country of Moldova extends his thanks to the Chick donors who provided him with 10,000 Moldovan “Holy Joe.” He reports "These are already being used across Moldova in villages and towns to reach lost souls."
Honduras – Tracts from last year’s big shipment to Missionary Scott Sumner in Honduras continue to be used throughout the country. This missionary extends his thanks for how the Chick tracts have mobilized his people to get into the streets and witness! Here are some new pictures he just sent us.
Coming Up:
- Philippines - We feel that we need to prepare another container of Chick tracts to go to the Philippines late this year or early next year. This usually involves between one and two million tracts and, along with shipping costs, is a very large investment in souls.
- We still need to print 1.2 million Spanish tracts for the network of churches working with Missionary Joe Hendrigsman in southern Mexico.
- Missionary Emanuel Negru is currently leading a large group of young people passing tracts, preaching in market places, etc. in 50 cities of Greece. He asked for 50,000 English “This Was Your Life.” They encounter large numbers of English-speaking tourists throughout Greece, and want to minister to them.
- A missionary in Israel, whose name we cannot share, is having 55,000 dual-language (Hebrew and English) tracts printed locally. We cannot import them, but must print there. The Mission fund will soon have to make the final payment for this printing.
