This is the MOST Changed Book in the N.T.
What do you think is the most altered book in the entire New Testament?
If you guessed Revelation... you’re absolutely right. ✅
Author David Daniels recently shared a story that shows why this matters—not just in theory, but in real life.
👉 A Lesson from His Mentor
One day, David Daniels’ mentor, Dr. Mont W. Smith, gave him a powerful piece of advice:
“David, if you take the Bible text exactly as it is written,
you’ll never be far off from the truth.”
Wise words... but that got him thinking: Which Bible are you taking as it is written? Because not all Bible texts say the same thing.
❌ A Lost Opportunity
For example, David once witnessed to a Jehovah’s Witness and opened his New American Standard Bible to share a powerful verse:
📖 Revelation 1:11 —
“I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.”
But... it wasn’t there.
In that critical moment, the verse that clearly showed Jesus’ deity was missing.
The door closed. The moment was gone. The truth was silenced.
🤫 Where Did That Verse Go?
Ever wonder how verses like that disappear?
David suggests it may have started with a quiet voice in the minds of early Alexandrian scholars:
“That doesn’t really belong, does it? Probably a copyist’s error…”
And just like that—✂️ erase, erase, erase—key verses vanish from the very book that warns:
📖 “If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life...”
— Revelation 22:19
Isn’t it strange that Revelation, the book with the strongest warning against changing Scripture… ends up being the most altered?
🔄 Over 600 Changes... in Just One Book!
Here’s something that might shock you:
📌 The Alexandrian-based versions of Revelation differ in hundreds of places from the King James Bible (KJV).
📌 Even the New King James Version (NKJV)—which seems “close” to the KJV—has 600+ changes in Revelation alone.
And Revelation is only about 20 pages long in most Bibles!
That’s a lot of changes for a short book—and a lot of doctrinal ground to lose if your version doesn’t preserve the truth faithfully.
⚠️ This Isn’t About Labels—It’s About Truth
David put it clearly:
This isn’t about being “too conservative” or “too liberal.” That’s the wrong debate.
This is about:
The King James Bible doesn’t just “sound majestic.” It boldly declares truth—truth that some modern versions soften, footnote, or erase.
🤔 Ask Yourself...
If a Bible begins removing verses that point to Jesus’ deity… Whose agenda is that serving?
We’ll explore more in the next email—especially how these changes impact beliefs about Jesus Christ.
But for now, reflect on this:
📖 What Bible are you reading from?
🛡️ Does your version protect God’s truth—or remove it?
P.S. Forward this to a friend—they deserve to know, too!

"A Treasure Trove of Information"
"In the 80’s when first received Jesus into my heart and to be my Lord, my pastor at that time (God rest his soul) warned us that scripture was being changed and he showed us proof. However, he only knew of a couple scriptures. This book is a treasure trove of information that I use and will pass on to others. Thank you."
