Young Men Are Rising Up
Across the country, something surprising is happening in churches: rows of young men in their twenties are showing up — and leaning in. These aren't cultural Christians going through the motions. They’re hungry — for truth, structure, and purpose in a world increasingly hostile to all three. As one church leader put it, these men are “faithful, spiritually hungry, and interested in cultivating a deep, personal faith.”
Answers . . . we all want answers.
And if we are Christians, we want answers that grow faith in others.

Mark Cahill spends his days and nights in personal witnessing. When on a plane headed for a speaking engagement, he knows how to connect with the person in the next seat and get them thinking about Jesus. When prowling the beach, he knows just the question to ask to get a spiritual discussion started.
In this book, he includes many stories of these encounters. We can’t read it without getting ideas that we can use with others. The book was originally created to present the gospel to non-believers, but so many of the answers he gives to common objections are answers we can use in our own ministries.
As a Christian, you can’t read it without being provoked to passion and faith. You will find yourself motivated to witness, and armed with ideas that will make people think!

Testimony
I was saved in January of 1974 when I found three Chick tracts on a table in my grandparent's living room. They were not churchgoing people and there was no reason for the tracts to be in the home. The only time they attended church were for weddings, funerals and church suppers. As a 15 year old I attended an Episcopal church, was confirmed and served as an altar boy. However, I had no idea I needed to make Jesus my Lord and Savior. After reading "This Was Your Life" I remember thinking to myself, "I didn't know I was supposed to do this!" I knelt next to my grandmother's bed and called out to the Lord. Fifty-one years later I'm still buying Chick tracts and leaving them in public places.

So many Chick tracts are going all over the world, and its all because of your faithfulness to give to missions. Here are a few things happening now.
Philippines – The 1.8 million Chick tracts from the last container are being spread all over the Philippines. The Gospel is being placed in the hands of a tremendous number of people, and people are being pointed to their local churches. Missionary Mike Pancoast shares these next pictures with us to show what is happening everywhere!

As more than 100 ministries flood the country with the Chick tracts you provided, people are being “interrupted” in all walks of life with Jesus’ claim on their lives. The people below were busy with life, when they suddenly were handed a life-changing booklet that you provided.
Missionary Dan Musgrave, with Amazing Grace Mission in Dayton, TN, has requested 50,000 Filipino and Cebuano tracts for his church network in the Philippines. They have been faithfully planting seeds, putting the Chick tracts to good use, and have already seen 5,300 precious people saved!
We have begun to accumulate requests from this active mission field for a container planned late this year. These containers are always a huge project, made possible only because of your giving.
Guyana – Missionary Noel Shrivnauth (BIMI) has requested 22,000 Chick tracts for his ongoing outreaches in this country best known for the mass suicide of the People’s Temple cult in Jamestown. For 31 years, the Shrivnauths have been bringing the gospel to these people, where they have established a strong local church.
Greece – 50,000 English Chick tracts have just been shipped to Missionary Emanuel Negru. As he leads his team through 50 cities in this country, he will soon have tracts for the great numbers of English-speaking tourists who flood Greece every year.
Colombia – Now that he has received his second shipment of 5,000 Chick tracts, Missionary Mark Gerosin is deciding what should come in the next shipment. He requested a total of 20,000 tracts, and has now received half of those. To simplify customs clearance, we are shipping 5,000 at a time. That means we have two shipments to go.
Current Needs:
As missionaries see how readily people stop and read the Gospel in Chick tracts, requests are coming in from all over:
- Missionary Mike Pancoast on the island of Palawan in the Philippines has requested 100,000 Filipino tracts for the 25-church network that he works with.
- Missionary Mark Mariner in Suriname needs 20,000 Chick tracts in Dutch and Suriname to help him reach the 600,000 people living in this South American country. Nearly half the country’s population is in the capital city of Paramaribo, where Mark serves.
- Missionary Layne Jones (BIMI) has planted 21 churches, a Bible college and 24-hour radio station in the Philippines. He needs 50,000 Chick tracts to keep that group of churches working.
- We still have 1.2 million tracts to go in order to fill the request of Missionary Joe Hendrigsman in Oaxaca, Mexico. Two large shipments are already in transit to him.
- Missionary Richard Weimer needs 20,000 German tracts for his outreaches in Dresden, Germany and his missionary son Samuel Weimer needs 10,000 Czech tracts for his ministry in nearby Czechia.
- Missionary Noel Shrivnauth in Guyana needs 20,000 English and Spanish tracts.
- Missionary Mike Fluech in South Africa needs another 10,000 Chick tracts.
