Occult Influence Growing in Culture and Youth

As the face of Hogwarts’ magical world, Emma Watson now openly praises witchcraft in real life. Her millions of followers are paying attention—and embracing the shift.

In an Instagram post, she thanked the “witches in my coven” for helping shape her identity. She even calls them her personal “Avengers” and credits them for inspiring and empowering her. At the BAFTA Awards, she declared, “I’m here for all the witches.”

Their minds are fed 95% of the time with evil from every direction.  If you keep them in church, they might get 5% good.  How do you balance what’s going into them?

Try wholesome comic books that teach godly ideas.  Give them a Jumbo Comic Pack.  They will learn love, forgiveness, prophecy (Jesus wins in the end), an anti-gang message, God’s judgment (we reap what we sow), avoiding the occult and more.

Testimony

I'm so thankful for Chick Tracts. I have the "bug" and hand out tracts whenever I can.

I volunteer at our local hospital and I place tracts on cars coming in and out of my

shift, plus use and opportunity to share with the patients and family members.

What a great way to get the gospel out these last days.

We would love to hear from you!

Because so many of you have been faithfully giving, we are continuing to send large quantities of Chick tracts to missionaries all over the world.  Already this year, you have provided more than six million Chick tracts for missions, with more going every week!

Philippines – Missionary Gerald Sutek takes very seriously Jesus’ command to “preach” the gospel to every creature.  He spent years teaching and leading street preaching in the U.S.  Then he served as a missionary in Romania, and finally felt God’s call to the Philippines.  There, he started preaching on the streets, planted a vibrant church and Bible school, taught creation in the public schools, and is training young men to serve God.

In the video below, we can see his team preaching on the street and passing out the Chick tracts you provided to the stream of people going by.  Not only do these people hear the Gospel, but they also take it home in a Chick tract.  After 56 years of ministry, this missionary has no “quit” in him.  He will receive 60,000 Chick tracts on the next container for his amazing team.

Missionary Bruce Hunsaker has a whole army of Filipino pastors he has taught to do soul-winning.  To supply all of them and their teams will require 840,000 Chick tracts to be included in the next container.  These missionaries know how to multiply themselves!  It’s hard to over-emphasize the impact of this gospel distribution all over the country.  He and his wife Edna give Chick tracts to young people, and then open the Scriptures to them with Jesus' claim on their lives.

Everyone reads Chick tracts!

They all have Chick tracts in front of them

Hand them your Bible and let them read it back to you!

Guyana – This week, we shipped the 22,000 Chick tracts to Guyana that were requested by Missionary Noel Shrivnault.  Whenever he has requested a supply, you have stepped up to make it possible!

Japan – This week we also shipped another 10,000 to Missionary E.G. in Japan.  He has been widely distributing Chick tracts in the greater Tokyo area for some time.  This is a hard field, but he never gives up!  God bless this dedicated missionary.

Germany and Czech Republic – The 30,000 German and Czech tracts requested by Missionary Richard Weimer are being printed now and will soon be shipped.  While Weimer serves in Germany, his son Samuel serves as a missionary in neighboring Czech Republic.  They are both committed to evangelism!

Suriname – 20,000 Chick tracts in Dutch and Suriname are being printed this week for Missionary Mark Mariner in the capital city of Paramaribo.  He describes how people readily receive and read the tracts.

Greece – As this is being written, 50,000 English Chick tracts are in Athens, Greece, going through customs to provide Missionary Emanuel Negru with convicting Chick tracts for the huge numbers of English-speaking tourists he finds as he leads his team, preaching in the cities of Greece.

Netherlands – Missionary Stan Kamps has been passing out Chick tracts in the Netherlands for years.  He needs another 70,000 for his outreach in the area around Amsterdam, where people from 170 nations of the world find their homes.  In addition, he works with a pastor serving a Syrian church that needs 30,000 tracts to reach their people around Almere.

Canada – Missionary Brian Green of Seed For the Cities will be conducting a big outreach in the city of Toronto the end of this month.  He has a large group of believers all ready to pass them out.  Your giving made it possible to provide 10,000 “This Was Your Life” for this campaign.

Mexico – We are continuing to print and ship Chick tracts to meet the 2.4 million tract request from Missionary Joe Hendrigsman in Oaxaca.  We are already half way through this big project.  Thank you for making it possible!

Current Needs:

  • Colombia - Another 10,000 tracts for Missionary Mark Gerosin in Medellin.
  • Netherlands - 100,000 tracts for Missionary Stan Kamps.
  • Switzerland - Missionary Nico Verhoef has requested 20,000 Chick tracts in the Romansh language, an old language spoken in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.
  • Mexico - The final 1.2 million tracts needed by Joe Hendrigsman in Oaxaca.
