Satan’s Plan to Ruin Your Faith

Hi friend 👋

Did you know that the Devil doesn’t need you to reject God outright—he just needs to get you off the path of faith?

And that path begins with just a little confusion about what God said.

👉 But here’s the good news:
God gave us a way back.
And He preserved His exact words to keep us safe.

Let’s look at how it all unfolds—straight from Genesis and Psalm 12.

 

😈 Satan’s 4-Step Path to Destroy Faith

The Devil has a tried-and-true method to draw people away from God.
And it all started in the Garden of Eden…

Step 1: Confusion

“Yea, hath God said...?” —Genesis 3:1

Satan got Eve to question the exact words of God.
And sure enough—Eve misquoted God. She added things He didn’t say and left things out.

❗That’s what confusion looks like.
And once you’re unsure what God really said, Satan’s ready for step 2.

 

Step 2: Doubt

“Ye shall not surely die...” —Genesis 3:4

Now the Devil challenges God's integrity:
“God’s hiding something from you. He doesn’t want you to be wise.”
He casts doubt on God’s motives.

Sound familiar?
Every time a Bible translation weakens or twists Scripture, that seed of doubt grows.

 

Step 3: Disbelief

“A tree to be desired to make one wise...” —Genesis 3:6

Eve stopped believing what God said—that eating the fruit would bring death.
Instead, she believed Satan: “This will make me wise!”

Disbelief is the natural next step when you abandon the pure words of God.

 

Step 4: Rebellion

“She took... and did eat.” —Genesis 3:6

Once you stop believing God's words, it’s only a matter of time before you do your own thing.

That’s Satan’s goal: not just disbelief, but rebellion.

 

🧭 God’s Answer: His Preserved Words

Now flip over to Psalm 12, where David also sees corruption everywhere:

“Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth...” —Psalm 12:1
“The wicked walk on every side...” —Psalm 12:8

Sound like today?

And how does God respond?

 

🔥 God’s Words Are Pure

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” —Psalm 12:6

Pure. Refined. Complete.
Not double-tongued. Not man-made. Not opinion-driven.

 

🔐 God Preserves His Words Forever

“Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” —Psalm 12:7

That means you can have them today—right now.
You don’t need to guess what God meant.
You don’t need to rely on scholars who don’t even believe the Bible.

Satan’s path starts with confusion—and ends in rebellion.

But Romans 14:23 warns:

And Hebrews 11:6 reminds us:

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him...”

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.
Not just any version—but the pure, preserved words.
