The Poison of Ecumenism

In July, the Anglican Church in Wales appointed Cherry Vann as its 15th Archbishop —the first woman and the first openly gay leader in its history. Vann, who lives in a same-sex partnership, dismissed the controversy. “I’ve never heard God say to me, ‘Who you are is wrong, who you love is wrong,’”...

Testimonies

My daughter just texted me that our grandson just received the entire Crusaders series, and loves them!! He has been totally turned around in his Christian life with Chick tracts.

– C.D. (Tennessee)

When I was a kid, we had Chick tracts in the library in our public school (Gasp!)  I read This Was Your Life dozens of times, and Jack Chick certainly gets partial credit for leading me to the Lord. – (Email)

Fewer kids coming to your door?

Sometimes we need to get a little creative to share the Gospel. This past Halloween, one husband and wife duo decided to do exactly that. Rainier and his wife, Cindy, discovered just how much joy comes from stepping outside their comfort zone and finding new ways to reach people with the Good News....

Need Greek Tracts?

We now have Greek “This Was Your Life” in stock!

We continue to be humbled at the wave of support for Chick tracts for missionaries.  With several very large projects going at once, we appreciate all who partner with us to get the Gospel delivered world-wide. Here are some things going on this week:

Mexico – Missionary Walt Selman is continuing to spread the Chick tracts that we sent him earlier this year.  Many of them are passed out in the hospital district to families waiting to see sick loved ones.  Here he shares some pictures.

Missionary Paul Buskager has a big outreach planned for the city of Mexicali, population 3,000,000 people. You provided 270,000 Spanish Chick tracts through the Mission Fund for this outreach.  They were just delivered to the forwarder this week to be cleared through customs.  60 local pastors and many helpers from the U.S. will converge there to pass out these tracts that you provided.

Colombia – We just sent 5,000 Spanish Chick tracts for church planting by Missionary Mark Gerosin.  With your help, we have been able to keep this ministry supplied with ammunition!

Costa Rica – Unity Outreach has an annual outreach in Costa Rica, but this year they are expanding that to include Honduras and the Dominican Republic.  Your giving provided them with 5,000 Spanish Chick tracts.

Portugal (Azores) – Missionary Brian Green is following up on the successful June outreach in the Azores Islands off the coast of Portugal, going back for another campaign.  The Mission Fund provided another 10,000 Portuguese tracts for this outreach, to go along with another 10,000 that a Chick customer provided.

Greece – Missionary Emanuel Negru reports that the Summer 2025 Tour in Greece has now been completed.  They presented the Gospel at 58 locations in 44 Greek cities, and saw thousands of people who took the time to personally discuss Jesus with them.  Many were saved.

United Kingdom – We have just completed the printing of the 200,000 Chick tracts needed by Paul Song, who works along with Cross Mission in the greater London area.  Next week, we will begin the task of preparing them all for shipment.

Kristina Kim, also connected with Cross Mission, regularly works the streets with Chick tracts and her knowledge of Islam.  Because of Britain’s immigration policies, she meets many Muslims in this area.  We thought you might enjoy this description of one of her encounters, to see how an experienced missionary does personal evangelism.

Read it here.

Philippines – We have already printed hundreds of thousands of the tracts destined for the container that is leaving the end of this year or beginning of next, with many more hundreds of thousands yet to go.  There is an amazing spiritual battle going on the Philippines.  Some workers report increasing opposition, but people still quickly accept and read the Gospel in these tracts.  We are determined to make maximum impact in the Philippines while the door is still open!  Thank you for helping us equip these believers who boldly present Jesus!

The tracts from the last container are still getting read all over the country.

Thailand – More shipments arrived this week for the workers connected with Missionary Pat Caspary in Thailand.  In the picture below, we see Karen refugees from Burma, where the government is bombing its own people, as they have sacks of rice and Chick tracts.  Mothers and children are being given the Gospel.  If you look closely, you can see some of the yellow Chick tracts in the photo (hint: see the front row girl in the dark blue shirt).

Current Needs:

  • Philippines - Although much has come in, we still need a good deal of help to complete this 2.4 million tract container.
  • A veteran missionary in Israel (name withheld due to persecution) needs 65,000 Hebrew/English tracts that will be placed in mailboxes, and thus reach families everywhere.  This is permitted in Israel. The total cost of 65,000 of these double-size tracts is $10,400.
  • A group of missionaries in Papua New Guinea are planning a big outreach next June.  They need 20,000 each of 16 titles in Pidgin.  That’s 320,000 tracts!
