When some people think of evangelism, they imagine a pulpit, a microphone, and an organized event. But for two retired friends of Chick Publications, Jack and Sandy, it looks far simpler. All they need is a banner, a table, Chick tracts, and people passing by.

Written like a movie story board, fully illustrated by Jack T. Chick, here is how ancient manipulators in many countries used religion of Babylon to create multiple versions of the same Babylonian goddess, then named her “Mary.”

I found a very easy way to give out Chick tracts.

I buy a pack of cellophane envelopes—100 for a dollar. I put a tract in one, then add a wrapped sweet or chocolate inside the envelope on top of the tract, and fold the end so it sticks. (They all have a sticky end.)

When I hand them out, I say, “Happy Christmas” or “Happy New Year,” and give them the little clear cellophane envelope. All they see is the pretty wrapped chocolate sitting on top of a little tract.

Everyone is so grateful!

When we get into another season I’ll say, “Happy Veterans Day,” or some other thing I come up with. Delivered with a big smile, they take the little tract eagerly.
When they get home or sit in their car, they can read the great news and, hopefully, get saved.

People “grab” them when they see the wrapped chocolate inside, on top of the tract!

Thanks to your generous giving, the Chick Mission Fund continues to send tracts all across the world. Here’s what is happening this week.

Dominican Republic – Missionary Joshua Stertz arranged another outreach on the Samana Peninsula of Dominica and needs 10,000 Spanish This Was Your Life. Through your giving, we shipped his tracts this week.

Chile – We have begun printing the 500,000 Spanish This Was Your Life for Missionary Lacy Wheeler’s container heading to Chile. Ridgeview Baptist Church will handle the shipping to Chile, so there will be no shipping cost to the Mission Fund.

Chile – Missionary Kyle Sheridan in Coyhaique has requested 5,000 Chick tracts. With your help, we will fulfill this request.

Philippines – We continue to see fruit abounding to your account in the Philippines from the last container we shipped. Here’s some pictures from their outreaches.

Asia – We just shipped 10,000 Lao “This Was Your Life” to Missionary Josh McBryar to add to what we’ve already sent for his upcoming trip to Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand.

Mexico – We have been shipping hundreds of thousands of tracts at a time for missionary Joe Hendrigsman in Oaxaca. We have nearly completed the 2.4 million tracts needed for his network of churches. Only 200,000 to go!

Thailand – Missionary Pat Caspary is seeing the fruit of his labor in Asia as people he led to the Lord are now preaching and spreading Chick tracts among the refugees near the Thai-Burma border. The pictures below give you a glimpse of their work.
