Abortion and Gender Pushed on Little Minds

Parents beware! Your children are being targeted and it's far worse than you think.

Abortion advocacy group Shout Your Abortion (SYA), is releasing a children’s book titled Abortion Is Everything. Shockingly, it’s aimed at kids ages five to eight. The book describes abortion as a tool that empowers children and adults alike to “shape our destinies.” It even encourages kids to see the ending of unborn lives as something positive.

I’ve been using Chick booklets almost exclusively since I first read one in 1970. I’d conservatively estimate I’ve handed out 100,000 or more, bless the Name Above All Names.

What has kept me motivated is something Jack wrote around that time in a booklet for Christians. In it, the pilot of a bomber during wartime dropped many “delayed action” bombs. They fell away and sometimes wouldn’t detonate for hours, days, or even weeks or months.

The parallel is obvious: every time we leave a booklet, it will accomplish that which the Master designates it for, and time is no barrier for the Gospel (Isaiah 55:11).

I used to get upset when I’d see a booklet thrown into the trash. But then I thought—how many janitors have been exposed to the message simply because someone else rejected it? No doubt the number is HUGE.

As Christians, we need to be ready to give an answer for the hope we have.

As a Christian, you can’t read it without being provoked to passion and faith.  You will find yourself motivated to witness, and armed with ideas that will make people think!

Because of your giving, the Chick Mission Fund is continuing to send Chick tracts to foreign missionaries far and wide. Here’s some of the things happening this week.

Mexico – Missionary Timmy Oakes in Sonora writes, “I have been sharing these tracts with my friends who are pastors in the states of Sinaloa, Michoacan, and in my home state of Sonora.  Some of my friends are involved in prison ministry as well.  These tracts are a wonderful tool to use here on the mission field.” He needs another 10,000 Chick tracts.

Mexico – Missionary Paul Buskager writes, “We were able to complete the distribution of the remaining 50,000 tracts. We were able to distribute in the city of Tecate, Mexico. The people of Tecate are very kind to us and supportive of our mission for that week. We were in the streets for 4 days in the mornings and were able to complete the distribution… Our evening meetings were fantastic, we had 400 people that came out to hear the gospel. There were many saved and a lot of follow-up for the Pastors to do.” He is planning another campaign in the city of Juarez and writes, “We are looking for another 100,000 tracks to reach that city.” Here are a few pictures from his outreach.

Chile – We have shipped 5,000 Spanish “This Was Your Life” to Missionary Kyle Sheridan in Coyhaique.

Chile – We have finished printing the 500,000 Chick tracts for Missionary Lacy Wheeler’s container heading to Chile. We plan to ship it next week to Ridgeview Baptist Church, who will be handling shipping costs.

Asia – Missionary Josh Mcbryar has received 10,000 Lao “This Was Your Life” and will be heading off to use these tracts, along with the ones we previously sent, in Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand.

Japan – Missionary E.G. has received 10,000 Japanese Cleo. This project was generously paid in full by a donor.

Philippines – The container headed to over 100 ministries in the Philippines is now just off the coast of Japan and making its way to Taiwan, then Manila where it will be unloaded. While waiting for their new shipment, Chick tracts from the last container continue to be passed out all throughout the islands. Here’s some pictures of their continued work.

Mauritius – Missionary James Herringson has had his project paid in full by a donor and we have shipped 10,000 Chick tracts for his upcoming Easter outreach.

Germany – Missionary Nico Verhoef has just approved the final translation he did for Chick Publications and now needs 30,000 tracts. This project was also paid in full by a gift from a donor.

Peru/Dominican Republic – Missionary Franco Gennaro writes, “Thank you again so very much for the tens of thousands of young people you have helped reach for Jesus on high school and university campuses across Latin America– from the Amazons of Peru to the communist corners of Cuba!! We appreciate the partnership so much over the years!

"Once again, I am leading a team to Peru & the Dominican Republic. We have amazing open doors to go right into the public schools and universities!” We’ve sent another 3,000 tracts to him.
