Dale Detrow had no idea that what he started would bring that result. He knew that Chick tracts worked when he handed them to people. But when he retired, he had an idea to expand their reach.

At Walmart he found small card racks that conveniently displayed the tracts on a countertop. He bought several and attached FREE-TAKE ONE labels. Then he persuaded local merchants to park one on their shelves if he promised to come back every week to restock it.

Every town has truck stops, gas stations, yogurt shops, convenience marts, and other small businesses. Many will allow you to put a free tract rack there if you just ask. This is a whole new path for a personal ministry!

Just in the last 5 weeks, the Chick Mission Fund has supplied over 1,700,000 Chick tracts to missionaries in these countries: Guyana, Suriname, Mauritius, Guatemala, Mexico, Kenya, Korea, Ethiopia

What’s next? - 150,000 tracts for Guyana, 40,000 tracts for Mozambique, 1.3 million tracts for Philippines, 10,000 tracts for Korea (and parts northward), and 10,000 tracts for Belgium

The 1.5 million Chick tracts for Missionary Joe Hendrigsman and his network of churches in southern Mexico were completed and sent on their way Thursday, May 30th.  Our thanks to the ministry of Grace Transport, who is arranging their clearance through customs and transportation over 1600 miles south to this missionary work.
