Letter From David W. Daniels

Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
I’ve been having so much fun getting out tracts! I hold up three or four and ask, “Which of these do you not have?” Often they will pick one and that’s it. If someone declines, that’s their decision. I go on.
Until this last week.
I held up four tracts to one person and he said, “I haven’t seen any of them!” So I handed them all as a gift. He gladly received them!
But this is what got me: At another drive-through window, the young lady was shown two and said, “No, thank you.”
But that wasn’t the end. We were waiting for our order. I felt inside me, “Get JENNY.” So I did. When she was handing us our food she said she’d changed her mind! I handed her JENNY, and she gladly took it!
When times are really good, people feel satisfied and may not be interested in hearing about eternity and a better life. But when times are iffy, like now when many teens don’t believe they have a future, they become more interested in answers for their life’s questions.
And that is why you and I are so important. In a few short seconds, we can hand them a gospel tract that could change the direction of their life and eternity. That’s why my pockets stay stuffed with tracts and my car has backup.
They say, “Be the change.” We have the opportunity to bring about that change, and to arrange a meeting between that unsaved man or woman and God.
Happy tracting!
In Christ Jesus, and for His service,
David W. Daniels
