Missions Fund Report Jan 2026

Because so many of you have been giving to buy Chick tracts for missionaries, a tremendous amount has been happening since the last Battle Cry newsletter. At the time of this writing (early December), here are the things that were going on.

Mauritius

Missionary James Herringson has been receiving tracts through the Chick Mission Fund for several years. He writes: “Praise the Lord we have seen souls saved over the past few months. Your tracts are the main reason visitors come to our church and get saved.”
Thanks to your giving, he just received another shipment of 24,000 tracts for this island in the Indian Ocean. While most of these tracts were in French, a few thousand were in Hindi and Nepali so that travelers from the Indian subcontinent can receive the Gospel, too.

United Kingdom

Cross Mission, a team of Korean missionaries, were sent to the UK and use their street ministry to win the souls of the lost in a place where they have forgotten the LORD. We have shipped the next 200,000 Chick tracts that they need to make a continued impact on the streets there.

Dominica

Missionary Brian Green and a team of men from Montreal took Chick tracts you provided to Dominica where they started an outreach. While they were still in the middle of it, he wrote that they had already seen 19 souls saved.

Papua New Guinea

Missionary Josh Florence needs 50,000 Chick tracts to supply an outreach in the Fly District of Western Province, Papua New Guinea. We are shipping those this week to add to a container he is sending soon, so there will be no shipping cost to the Mission Fund.

Mexico

Another 200,000 Chick tracts were shipped to Missionary Joe Hendrigsman in Oaxaca, Mexico. In just one example of how the Chick tracts you provide are being used, Bro. Hendrigsman writes: “The Bible studies in Erradura are going well. We are hoping to turn that into a church plant by April. Right now we have kids coming each week. Sometimes a parent accompanies them. We have seen 13 kids saved as a result of sharing God’s Word with them. We have used Chick tracts in these Bible studies and will continue to do so as new titles arrive.” We are continuing to print and ship tracts for this ministry in southern Mexico.

Philippines

As tracts from the previous container to the Philippines continue to be circulated throughout the country, we are getting some beautiful pictures of precious young people hearing the gospel. Enjoy the pictures below as we see the result of so many tracts going into the schools. You are making an impact!

Panama

Missionary Cristobal Yanez and his wife, Eneida, sent out by Mission Blvd. Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas, needs 24,000 tracts to be used in his ministry. He is able to get them into schools and indigenous communities. To simplify customs clearance, we will ship these in two shipments of 12,000 tracts each. The first shipment went this week.

Thailand

Missionary Pat Caspary keeps us connected with workers who help the refugees from the war in Burma. They flee across the border into Thailand, with virtually nothing. In the pictures below, we see both children and adults receiving the Chick tracts you provided, and then being led in prayer.

Japan

Missionary E.G. just received another printing of Japanese “Cleo” to distribute in the massive area of Tokyo. He is one of few missionaries committed to getting gospel tracts into the hands of the Japanese people. Thank you for keeping him supplied.

Mexico

Missionary Lacy Wheeler, who serves in Irapuato, Mexico, sends multiple containers of Bibles, John/Romans and Chick tracts into Latin America every year. The Chick Mission Fund just shipped 504,875 Spanish Chick tracts to Texas, where they are being loaded into a container bound for Mexico. He has a network of churches just waiting to distribute these throughout the country.

Papua New Guinea

Dave Darling of Campaigns For Christ contacted us looking for Chick tracts for an upcoming campaign in Wewak, Papua New Guinea. CFC describes this as a rugged campaign, in areas reached only by hiking through the jungle. Because it is physically rigorous, they are limiting it to men only, but those men will be carrying Chick tracts! Your giving provided them with 327,225 Chick tracts in Pidgin.
