Many of you help to provide Chick tracts for missions. We get requests from a lot of missionaries, and we know how to get Chick tracts into their hands, so we formed the Chick Mission Fund. Through your giving, we provide millions of Chick tracts every year for missions.

If you are subscribed to the Chick email newsletter, you already receive weekly updates. But just in case you are not, here is a briefing on what has happened since the last printed Battle Cry.

Merida - Serving in the Yucatan (southern Mexico) are Mitch and Elizabeth Muller who received 24,000 Chick tracts. They have served there for 25 years as church planters. Many of their efforts have been concentrated in the rural villages that dot the peninsula. They currently work in the capital city of Merida in the state of Yucatan. They started Open Door Baptist Church in 2019 and it is a growing church in this Catholic stronghold. They also are working in 2 small villages outside of the city. They will need more tracts before the end of this year.

Oaxaca - Thanks to your continued giving, we were able to print a total of 500,000 Chick tracts for Missionary Joe Hendrigsman in Oaxaca, Mexico. He works with a network of churches to spread the tracts through the state of Oaxaca, with many going into the mountain villages and even into Guatemala. They requested 2.4 million Chick tracts for this year, and we are making good progress. 1,900,000 to go! Our thanks to Seeds of Grace Transportation in Lee’s Summit, MO, for providing transportation to carry these 500,000 tracts 1,200 miles into southern Mexico, so the Mission Fund has no shipping cost for this project.

Mexico City - Missionary Walt Selman called to say “Thank you” as the 50,000 tracts he needs in this city of millions finally arrived. Our thanks to Gary Schwer of Hands Across the Border for helping us clear customs and get the Gospel messages for both Muller and Selman delivered.

Thanks to your giving, we were able to print and ship 400,000 Chick tracts (7 titles) that Missionary Lacy Wheeler requested for his container to Honduras. The churches there are always so grateful to have the tools to reach their nation. Thank you for helping them!

You provided 10,000 Latvian Chick tracts for a team working here. The missionary works in some sensitive areas, so we don’t give his name. At the time of this writing, they were in Latvia passing out these tracts.

Your giving provided 10,000 tracts for Missionary Junior Haley in De Pinte, Belgium. Haley and his team combine street preaching with tract distribution to reach this European city.

A pallet of 56,000 Chick tracts were just delivered to Missionary Jim Voltenberg in Dundee, Scotland. Many of these tracts will be used around Dundee, but some are for a seaport ministry, in Filipino, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian and Arabic. Those will find their way to families in the four corners of the earth!

40,000 Chick tracts are being printed in Hindi and English for Missionary Lordson Roch in Goa, India. He and his team have been very faithful for years to get Chick tracts into the hands of people on the streets, and have seen their church grow as a result of it.

Frank Gennaro of Victory Missions is in Colombia with 3,000 Chick tracts that you provided. They have gained access to enter some of the roughest inner city public schools to hold assemblies and openly preach Jesus! Those kids will receive Chick tracts.

You provided 10,000 Moldavian tracts for Missionary Paul Hamilton. He is involved in 5 church plants in this eastern European country that was once part of the Soviet bloc.

• Mexico - We are still working on the 2.4 million tracts requested by Missionary Joe Hendrigsman for southern Mexico (Oaxaca area). 500,000 have already been shipped. 1.9 million to go. We will continue to print for this project as funds come in for it.

• Dominican Republic - Missionary Lacy Wheeler is preparing a container of Bibles and other literature to go here at the end of summer. The churches there are begging for Chick tracts. Wheeler asked for 400,000 Chick tracts (Spanish “This Was Your Life”) for this project.

• At the time of this writing, we are planning another 50,000 Greek “This Was Your Life” for the teams of Impossible Greece, led by Emanuel Negru, for preaching and tract passing in the markets of Greece.

• More Spanish tracts for the church-planting Mullers in Merida, Mexico.

• More requests are coming in for Myanmar, Colombia, Argentina and Italy, among others. Thank you for your faithfulness to world missions!
