Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

At the very moment that the USA is experiencing more freedom of speech, other countries’ leaders seem to have lost their minds. I just spoke with my friend Remi in Canada. He gets out thousands of gospel tracts, along with his family. Other friends of mine in a different Canadian province also get out tracts with their families.

But all that could be made criminal if three bills in the Canadian legislature pass, along with an “online harms act.” Framers of the bills claim that the gospel and gospel teachings could “harm” others by offending them. These four, if made into law, will allow searching of mail, email, and personal computers without a warrant by whoever. Offenders will face ankle bracelets and curfews!

What is a Christian to do?

We have but one option, explained in a couple of verses:

Acts 5:29 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”

Ephesians 6:13 “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Brothers and Sisters, we need to stand. Praise God for those of you who passed out tracts and gave to the mission fund during the last lockdown. There is no reason to not spread the gospel while we have the freedom to do it.

Please pray for our brothers and sisters in countries like Canada and the UK. Unless things change, and change rapidly, they could suffer greatly for standing for Christ, even silently.

Finally, please stand. And encourage others to stand with you. The victory is the Lord’s!
